The RBD is split into two phases and address the following key aspects:

 

RBD Phase 1:

This is the early investigative phase and is aimed at gaining an overall initial impressions of the current health of the organisation. The following indicators highlight the typical thrusts of this phase:

  • Involvement of all C-Level and other selected stakeholders
  • Identifying key inhibitors to current and future success
  • Identifying immediate risks
  • Establishing immediate opportunties (LHF’s – low hanging fruits)
  • Deriving a high-level performance scorecard
  • Identifying further areas of investigation
  • Duration is typically 2-3 weeks elapsed time*
RBD Phase 2:

This is the ‘deep dive’ phase which is informed by the the earlier diagnosis. The following indicators highlight the typical thrusts of this phase:

  • Involvement of selected 2nd and 3rd tier internal stakeholders
  • Involvement of selected external stakeholders (if required)
  • Deeper, focused investigations informed by earlier diagnosis
  • Further analysis of complexities and dependencies e.g. processes and structures
  • Initiation of selected LHF interventions
  • Development and definition of the organisation’s Value Proposition
  • Development of typically 3-4 business case frameworks
  • Duration is typically 4-6 weeks elapsed time*

TEM Phase:

  • Defining ‘What Success Looks Like’ and a roll-out journey map
